Yeah, well, like you subversive lottery winners say, "Suck it." And F*ck you all.

Between "stars" dressing like demonic whores and Madonna's self-absorbed Winnie Mandela appropriation, it's hardly any wonder that ratings were even lower than last year, when the show barely edged out Rick and Morty.

And that's  encouraging, because MTV has always been a shill for a decadent totalitarian monopoly of violence, and this year was no different. Figuring the aging "Rock the Vote" needs a supplemental effort to appeal to millennials, they're trying to get "young people to guilt their friends into voting." And they're specifically citing "political activism among young people, catalyzed by the shooting in Parkland, Florida earlier this year, which drove students into the streets in record numbers during the March For Our Lives."

Look at how they intend to do that with +1 the Vote. Look at the information they are tricking the safe-spacers into providing them on "friends," basically getting their privacy-eradicating data collection done for them for free. Would you still have anything to do with someone who volunteered your name, edress, phone number and meat space address to the One Percent billionaires at Viacom? Especially when they flat out admit:

"Don’t worry - we won’t tell them you searched them..."?

Creep, snitch AND be sneaky about it? With friends? And the need for that assurance means you know you're doing them wrong?

If you have any voting age young people within your sphere of influence, give them a friendly warning about what's going on.

And suck it, Sumner Redstone, Thomas J. May and Robert Bakish. F*ck you all.

I remember during the LA riots, MTV played a rock video where some white guy in what I recall as a white tux and top hat was whipping a black man in a barn.  Just the thing to gin up the racism and provoke at the time when things were already at a breaking point.

Anybody think there aren't people pulling strings who know exactly what they're doing?

Just note that most of the action is going to occur in "progressive"-occupied territory. That means if you can, avoid it. If you can't, don't be Reginald Denny.

A Creep Among the Tombstones

"A Walk Among the Tombstones," in which UK transplant Liam Neeson (of anti-gun MTV-approved "Kill Map" fame) plays an ex-NYPD "Only One" turned gun-using vigilante, opens today.

Everyone here is aware he's an anti-gun cultist in real life who would like to see edicts from his homeland imposed on his adoptive country, meaning he supports the state disarming you and those you love?  Do your gun rights advocate friends know?

Is there any compelling reason they would want to further enrich this creep? Why not make finding out today's Five-Minute Activism task and ask them?

Separate But Unequal

Fincher and other Militia of Washington County members were featured in a March 2006 front-page report in The Morning News, firing the weapons. That report, according to federal law enforcement officials, was what prompted them to begin investigating Fincher and the group.--The Morning News

So a couple pictures and some quotes in the local paper is enough to prod the feds into sticking an informant in the midst of citizens exercising their natural rights guaranteed by the Constitution?

That's quite different from the attitude they conveyed in regards to actor Mark Wahlberg*, where they said:

"Because you saw this individual possessing a gun in a movie trailer, it is not known whether or not this item meets this definition. The possibility exists that it could have been a movie prop and made to function as a real weapon through the use of special effects."

Wahlberg, you'll recall, "pled guilty to two counts of criminal contempt, each count carrying 'a maximum penalty of ten years in a house of correction or ten thousand dollars or both.' The Commonwealth's Sentencing Memorandum supported "the recommendation that the Defendant be sentenced to two years at the Deer Island House of Corrections, ninety days committed, with the balance suspended for two years."

As I wrote earlier, "Title I of the Gun Control Act of 1968 prohibits certain classes of persons from 'purchasing, receiving or transporting firearms or ammunition in interstate commerce.' Among these are persons 'convicted of or under indictment for a felony ... Such persons correspondingly are prohibited from purchasing or otherwise acquiring any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped in interstate commerce.'"

Hmmm...seems "interstate commerce" factored in the Fincher case as well...

And per 18 USC Chapter 44, Sec. 922, "Unlawful Acts":

It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that such person - (1) is under indictment for, or has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year;

and

It shall be unlawful for any person...who has been convicted in any court of, a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; to...possess in or affecting commerce, any firearm or ammunition; or to receive any firearm or ammunition which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce.

Interstate commerce again--and it looks like it could trip up not just Pokey-Poke, but anyone who employs him and provides him with "any firearm."

Which brings us to my old pals on Calguns Forums, where a couple of interesting pictures were posted, along with a reference for the gunsmith who provided the studios with the weaponry used in them (via interstate commerce). Surely BATFU has enough to look into this--if they wanted to.

Now understand: The gunsmith is surely innocent of any infraction, as knowledge is a component of any violation. He is dealing with licensed armorers and completing all required transaction records in accordance with federal law--records BATFU has access to, so their earlier excuse rings hollow. But he would be able to verify whether or not the prop he supplied was a functional firearm--again, as would BATFU, with a simple phone call. Whether the studios that employ Mr. Wahlberg know of his criminal past becomes more problematic.

Also understand this: I would never report this to the feds, although I won't let the possibility that they lurk here from time to time inhibit what I have to say--as far as I'm concerned, Mr. Wahlberg should have exactly the same claim to the Second Amendment we all do, as should all others free to live outside of custodial restraint imposed via due process.

I merely point out that Mr. Fincher is no less deserving of the same freedom, and that the government has knowingly subjected him to a different standard of enforcement.

It seems celebrity couple Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, who tied the knot a year ago, demand fidelity from each other at gun point.

The Hollywood actor has revealed that he and Moore purchased shooters just after they got married, and that now he's convinced neither one of them will ever stray.

"We got guns and that helps... She was working on a movie in Louisiana and so we went out and both got (guns). She got a Glock and I got a Springfield"...

"I actually took this boy that Scout was dating out at our place in Idaho and I would, like, carry the gun around in my side at all times just so he knew... Subtle hints," he said.

I'm delighted to see some high profile celebrity gun owners. But implying lethal force against people who aren't an immediate physical threat really doesn't help with a reputation for responsible gun ownership most of us have earned.

It would be nice to see an "A-list" movie star or two explain why they believe in the right to keep and bear arms, and to do so in a way that shows they're more than ankle-deep into the pool. As opposed to the socialist nonsense most of them spew whenever they have a camera and no script in front of them.

Monumentally Important Correction: I guess the title of Ashton's MTV show is "Punk'd", with an apostrophe instead of an "e." S'cuse me for not keeping up with the latest modern, now, au go go trends, especially since I've always considered myself kind of cutting-edge swell...I mean, groovy. Guess I've been owned--or is that pwned?
