Brady Center hypocrisy on federalism is typical for the group

When freedom activists do the same thing, Lowry and his ilk scream “home rule.” [More]

All It Would Take

The number of gun owners in the United States is staggering. All it would take to fund this project is for 400,000 people to pledge $1. How many gun owners do you know? [More]
Or 200,000 to give $2.

Or...

We can do this if we want to.

If you want to.

An "At Risk" Population

"Liberals" (although I do not cede that noble word to collectivists). [Read]

If so, they'll have brought it on themselves.  And being useful idiots, it will not dawn on them that they are  pawns. Their pain, terror and losses will mean nothing other than how that can be relied on and exploited to engineer demands from the victims ceding further power and control  in the name of "security and safety."

Wouldn't you think, Alfred?

Vanderboegh Medical Update

Just spoke with him. Today's an "up" day. He sounded strong.  Expect some posts at Sipsey Street.

I still say hold off on the emails.

Do They Really Want to Play Sex Games?

NRA Leaders' Links To Sexual Scandals [More]
Compare to these noted and leading gungrabbers:
This was just off the top of my head and took 10 minutes to find links for, compose and post from the time I saw this desperation piece from the hypocritical and degenerate anti-rights pervs. Anybody want to bet me money I couldn't come up with a lot more if I decided to work at it?  How much?

Feinstein continues to misrepresent Mexican gun tracing numbers

“This data makes it very clear that we need to increase our efforts to starve the supply of American weapons that arm Mexico’s brutal drug trafficking organizations,” Feinstein concludes, meaning she intends to do all she can to infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.  But the thing is, the data doesn’t make that clear at all, and in fact, cautions against jumping to hysterical conclusions. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes there are liars, damned liars and anti-gun Democrats.

Stop the Threat: "Home Invasion"‏

“A family becomes victim of a home invasion when criminals come to the wrong address. How will they survive these bumbling attackers?” American Trigger Sports Network (ATSN) asks.

Meanwhile, Over in Furious Mike Paradise

Former NYPD detective and security expert Sal Lifrieri told Carlin no matter what the government does to try and make people safer so much of it is up to the people, themselves. [More]
You come up with that blinding bit of illumination all by yourself there, guy...?

Stop the Radical Republican Agenda

See, if they can  convince people tepid Mitt Romney is a "radical," why, that makes you and me something much, much worse. [More]

And isn't it just "common sense" to keep guns away from terrorists?

A Good First Day

This is 24 hours or so after I announced the project on Gun Rights Examiner. But it's just the beginning and there's a very long way to go.

Please keep the buzz going and growing by sharing this link far and wide.

Please help. Every little bit does.

And thank you to those of you who have.

Young Turks

No doubt looking for Young Armenians...[Watch]

That Michael Shure certainly is an idiot.  And Dan Gross, name just one person in "the gun lobby" who is "putting the guns in the hands consciously of dangerous people in the name of an industry."

Will right questions be asked at today’s 'ATF Roundtable’?

As this will be a “pen-and-pad” event only, with no recording devices allowed, we will, unfortunately, not be able to hear any sputtering if those questions are asked. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes there may be a curve thrown in with all those softballs.

An Open Debate

Should People Be Allowed to Carry Guns Openly? [More]
I'm gonna have to jump on some of my friends here--I didn't even know about this US News and World Report "Debate Club" or their participation in it--otherwise I'd have been calling attention to it.

What this really reveals is open and closed minds.  Note the naysayers like the no-joshin' Josh twins--they don't want to allow concealed carry, either.  Gee, and their opinions mean so much to me.

It looks like you can vote up the opinions you like and vote down the ones you don't.  The results as of this writing sure look like a grassroots vs. AstroTurf indicator to me...

We're the Only Ones Luring Enough

Prosecutors have charged a New Jersey police officer with attempted aggravated sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl he met while assisting her family in an unrelated police matter. [More]

How very helpful of him.

And once more into the breach with the Eternal Question...

Lifting Our Burdens

ATF & U.S. DOJ Plan to Remove CLEO Signature Requirement for NFA Firearms Transfers [Read]
This is a good first step. Now just get the feds out of the process and we'll really be making progress.

Vanderboegh Medical Update

I had business to attend to this morning, and was unable to receive phone calls.  When I was able to reestablish communications, there was a voice mail message from Mike--he said he "had a bad night last night" and "they're taking me into the emergency room."

I called his number 10 minutes ago and his wife Rosey answered.  She said he's having trouble breathing, they're worried some fluid may be getting into his lungs and they're taking him in for another CAT scan.

These folks have been through a lot. Now would be a pretty good time to send another plea up the chain of command.

We're the Only Ones Passing the Savings On To YOU Enough

A former Sheriff's deputy under indictment on a battery of gun and explosive charges may have sold numerous handguns he made from mismatched and illegally obtained gun parts, the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office revealed today. [More]
The amnesty offer reminds me of the story of the old man and the talking frog.

I'd rather have the gun.
