Cam did just admit on air (6/16) that he missed that part of the article and would of confronted him on it if had read it.We're still anxiously awaiting word on whether or not Mr. Confer has been "swayed."

I've returned to this website, weeks after my posting. Sorry about the delay as I had misplaced the URL.
Looking at my initial post, which I typed out in a hurry, "take away" did not really mean "take away" in its truest sense. It was looking at it from a political standpoint, in the writing version that a pundit would use.
I am not keen on taking any guns away. As you can hopefully tell from my UN War on Guns article and from my website, www.bobconfer.net, the second ammendment as with all things American are important to me.(case in point, note the recent article I wrote for NY Outdoors indicating children must be educated by families that guns are OK, despite what the schools teach them).
I must say, quite a few like Armed and Christian and Straight Arrow have expounded in a cordial and very sound manner with great arguments.
Good job to most everyone who has responded on this blog.
You've opened my mind and given me understanding of assualt rifles. You've clarified the issue for me greatly and eliminated the grey area I had with this issue.
