Preparing and filing the amicus brief will take thousands of additional dollars. A2A will be facing attorney fees, printing expenses, filing fees, travel and lodging expenses, etc. We have some money but not enough.

Who is running the site?
You bet it's legit--I wouldn't do that to ya, Less. I work too hard at this to blow my rep on something so easily verifiable. I first heard about it from David Hardy, on his Of Arms and the Law site--he is one of the three academics, along with Clayton Cramer and Joseph Olson of Hamline University, who is the person running the site.
