We're the Only Ones With Gun Handling Skills Enough

Two off-duty female cops yelled, "We are the police!" - and then pistol-whipped a Bronx man in what authorities call a case of road rage.
What have we warned you about lifting a finger against New York "Only Ones"?

Do you know who you are f------ with? We are the police!"
What more anyone needs to know than that is beyond me.

This will blow over because the cops don't lie and this citizen is of course a bold faced liar.

I don't know why his car door would have been open, but it's good to be reminded that police off-duty and on- react first with ANGER and insults. Being unsafe or ignorant or careless is a PERSONAL affront to guardians of peace and order, and they will kick the crap out of you for it.
Put another penny on THAT side of the scale. You know which side I mean.

Defender,
That is what they are trained to do. It asllegedly gives them control and makes the situation safer for them. Works well against sheeple, not so well against that small percentage who do not back down from aggression.

"Command presence."

Which is fine, if you're in the military and being given orders by a superior officer. Though I think in many cases they handle it more like a coach and his team. But then, the police are beginning to out-military the military.
If you're off duty and you START a conversation with what are legally referred to as "fighting words," you're not the police.
The bicyclist in Denver who ran a red light? To the undercover cops staking out Coors Field for ticket scalpers, he was just some random a--hole too. He confronted them and they played volleyball with his head.
Denver. Da Bronx. Places where MOST civilians are unarmed.
No "serfing."

I told one of my U.S. Senators that when The People have had enough abuse from their government and its agents, it will become obvious.
He still hasn't replied.

This NYC incident sounds like the Brownshirts on Kristallnacht.
Bullies with badges. Terrorists with truncheons.

A police state is made up of many such "isolated incidents."
Then, before you know it, they're the rule rather than the exception. Not a violation of policy and procedure because they ARE policy and procedure.

Too bad it's "against" the law to defend yourself with a firearm against these type of "legal" thugs in NYSHITTY.

Have any of you read any of the comments with the article.

There must not be an entire brain in that whole city.

I studied in NYC for a while. There are some brains there. But they are shouted or beaten down.

Now I go to LA.......Aye yiyi.

defender: good observation about police states and "isolated incidents"

straightarrow: can't really contest your observation. I have seen criticisms, but the posts there support you.

To all: Anyone observing intermittently stationed National Guards personnal and "voluntary" bag check NYPD stations cannot escape seeing a large % of female personnel. This should give us all cause for thought. While I have my doubts about their effectiveness as real shock troops their presence should be expected and one's attitudes, conscious and unconscious should be examined. all the best, cycjec
