Just a Sales Technique

But, the news is that it's a mainly just a sales technique.
That's a hell of a sales technique--running out of inventory when you still have customers clamoring for more.

What line of work did you say you were in, Bryan? Besides shoveling sh**?

So, "sales techniques" that sell guns are bad, but "sales techniques" that sell socialism (or at least convince people to vote for socialists) are good?

it's 2011, and a new domestic war has broken out in the US. nobody saw it coming.

bryan miller is explaining to his children why his family has to fight and steal and lie to survive oppression from his own government in his own home city:

"everybody thought the 'crazy' people had disarmed, not the exact opposite -- i mean, it was just a sales technique."

any bets that he hears the words, "i love you, dad" anymore?

Here's the schmuck's bio:

About the Author
Bryan Miller is executive director of Ceasefire NJ, one of the nation's oldest and most respected organizations devoted to reducing gun violence. Miller had a twenty-five year career in international business until his only brother was shot and killed by a man wielding a concealed and illegal assault pistol. Miller led the campaign which led to enactment in 2002 of the country's first Childproof Handgun Law.

Miller will comment on issues about the place of guns in American society, the scourge of gun violence, and ways to reduce it.

Any questions?

I do like how he calls the firearms industry declining and then cites the reduction in FFLs as proof.
