Memphis police identified the body of transgender woman Duanna Johnson lying in the street near Hollywood and Staten Avenue early this morning.Hmmm...Police believe Johnson was shot some time before midnight on Sunday. No suspects are in custody at this time.
It's probably not even fair of me to speculate. I just wish I had more reasons for trust...

I thought you'd find it interesting. It's an awfully big coincidence, considering the fact that 2 cops got fired and she had a million-dollar-plus civil suit against the department.
On the other hand, she was apparently involved in drugs and prostitution - which would bring her into contact with all sorts of friendly characters.
It'll be informative to see how the investigation goes... if it doesn't just vanish completely.
