SCOTUS Gets Excuse to Dodge

On Wednesday, the Ninth Circuit Court voted to review en banc a three-judge panel decision in April, extending the Second Amendment right to have a gun for personal self-defense so that it would restrict or nullify state, county and city gun control laws. The effect of that order, of course, was to vacate the panel decision. Thus, the disagreement between that panel and the Second and Seventh Circuits no longer exists... [More]
Who's surprised that rather than just recognize and protect our unalienable rights--the whole reason we feed these bastards in the first place--that ritual is given more importance than the reason behind it?

So now SCOTUS can sit on its hands, continue to allow injustice and deprivation of rights to exist unchallenged, and allow the pot to continue its gradual progression to full boil.

Truth is, the only way those in power ever cede it is when costs of not doing so exceed benefits. Nobody thinks they're going to voluntarily just give it up because it's the right and moral thing to do, I trust...

There must be a vibe in the air. I wrote about that last night:

Ninth Circus detects reason in its ranks...and moves to quash it

When the lawyers and judges and et al start with all their stuff, my eyes glaze over, and I lose interest. I guess it's because they're just going to lie about everything anyway, like they usually do, and throw another rope on me to control me and mine. So, when it's finally TIME, give me a holler, and ........

Y'all are a little late on this analysis. I commented on it the day it happened and said the same thing. I think it was at David Hardy's, but don't remember for sure. Anyway, there were people there trying to determine the outcome of the en banc hearing. Ha hahahaha, as if that is in doubt.

Still you got it right, and the underlying reasons for it.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if a member of the current administration had prior contact with the judge requesting the en banc review, nor would it surprise if the rest of them had sore arms.

AS I've said many times before, until some of the worst tyrants start coming up missing, nowhere and never to be found, they will NOT listen. Why should they? There's no consequence.

Everyone read, "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross and learn how to get the changes we need without need for firefights in the streets.

The hogs are still hungry. No patriot has fed them yet.
