nobody can call me a fan of police, but I will not disparage officers who engage armed criminals at risk of their lives. The operative word there is criminals.
However, neither will I tolerate the command structure who insist of punishing me or denying my rights because of the action of criminals. That is the precursor to the command structure becoming unrepentantly and openly criminal.
The same goes for any officer that supports or adheres to such a policy, instead of arresting his chief for "violation of civil rights" , or the governor or the legislature if they write cover for such dictatorial assholes.
Looks as if somebody got in a hurry and it ended up costing lives. Of course, I could be wrong.
This is a huge problem for cops in this country. Once in the UK I saw the cops set up to wait out a criminal. Which is they way they did things. Here in the US these idiots really believe they are commandos with their shaved heads. They keep telling each other, "we are bad asses and will kick anyone's ass that doesn't snap to it when we demand that they do so". They are totally in your face and thats all they know. So they got themselves killed by not taking the time to reason the situation at hand.
Here's where the fun is going to start. The only thing that allows cops to get away with the crap that they pull on so many people is the productive citizen doesn't know what is going on. These citizens believe cops are decent people because that's the way cops used to be and are still thought of in that regard. As these decent citizens start spilling out into the streets and town hall meetings to voice against the Obama care that being forced on them. The cops are going to be ordered to push these people around in heavy handed ways. This will be the turning point for cops in this country. The sleeping citizen will see these goons in action and trust me the support that cops have had is going to be something of the past. Watch and see.
