Weapons of Mass Destruction

Included in North Carolina’s definition of a “weapon of mass death and destruction” is a shotgun with a barrel less than 18 inches in length. [More]
Yep, there it is, GS-12-288.8.

But wait--what could they possibly mean by "Except as otherwise provided in this section," and whoever could they be referring to when they say "Persons exempted from the provisions of G.S. 14‑269 with respect to any activities lawfully engaged in while carrying out their duties"...?

Oh, they must mean subsection (b).

You know, "Only Ones."

Lord knows, what would compel you and me to wreak mass death and destruction would just be another tool in the law enforcement kit when placed in their more capable and morally superior hands.

Right?

It is just a way to NC to charge people locally for NFA violations... they could have charged the guy federally instead...

not saying that it is right, but getting a tax stamp also excludes you from this law....
