No matter how much training one has and how many permits and licenses, still the only people authorized to have guns on campus are the police. If you need them, they'll be behind large trees and other bullet-resistant objects until the shooting stops. The Goddard and Samaha families of Virginia Tech don't like that to be mentioned.
