Prosecutor to Pokey-Poke

Screwy screw youey you... [More]

And in the interests of truly equal justice, I'm still wondering why new charges haven't been filed...

And as far as this goes: I'm suspicious that all reports up until recently said Pokey took the guy's eye out, and this new disclaimer didn't come out until a reputation cleanup bid was made.  I'd be interested to see if the victim has suddenly come into some money.

Yeah - I'd like to see Johnny Trinh's financial statement before and after as well.

Pokey can likely transfer a lot of $$, and not notice it in his lifestyle. Especially when he's trying to get rights restored.

It's nearly impossible for a non-violent felon to get rights restored - unless he has friends in political places.

It's also possible the one who lost an eye was the fellow whose head was busted open - not the guy he punched in the eye.

Real racist POS, there, Marky. Hope you never have rights restored.

Rights are *rights*, Ned. Rights are not subject to removal or restoration. Either Pokey-poke has rights, or he does not - and if Pokey-poke doesn't have rights, neither do you

I don't want to see special favors for wealthy ex-felons; I want to see all free people treated as the free people they are.

As our host is wont to say, "if you can't be trusted with a gun, you can't be trusted without a custodian".
