Dumb Idea

Gun Legislation & Politics in New York warns us about an assembly bill to require "smart guns."

David beat me to it. He must be a genius. Using of course, the standard measure.

To get a "smart politician" bill passed would require a state that has referendums or ballot initiatives. It would have to be driven by irate voters. Unfortunately we don't have too many of them that are qualified either. We keep electing the same analog politicos. Analog, does mean thick as wood, doesn't it?
