How Many Checks Could a Gun Check Check...?

A bill that would let concealed-gun permit holders skip federal background checks when purchasing firearms died Tuesday after a half-dozen law enforcement officials and anti-gun activists testified against it...

Denver District Attorney Mitch Morrissey called Kester's bill flawed, insisting it would have created loopholes and undermined current laws.

"When the concealed-gun law was first passed in the state, I don't think it was intended to be a gateway not to undergo a background check," Morrissey said.

The concealed gun permit process is a background check, you dolt.

I think I've found the answer to my question. You call it a "Morrissey."

Are these some of the same law enforcement officials who demand that CCW information is hooked into a routine driver's license check? So the officers will know if they are stopping a law-abiding citizen who has had a thorough background check?

And if they stop an ex-con who might have served time for violent offenses - they have no warning whatsoever?

LE "officials" and most politicians are part of the same slurry if you ask me.

Per our earlier conversation about your sons' names: LOL! I almost bit, then I recognized those names for who they were. So, is Vlad's middle name "Dracul"? :-D

We GAVE them the power. It is up to US to rescind our grant. And We, The People, have that Right.

Ben has it right. It's a 'mentality'. Believe it's called; 'Superiority Complex'.

'They' need reminded of who the 'Ultimate Authority' is. Which is We The People. 'They' need to be put back in 'their' proper place. (Much like how one trains a puppy).

Dolt D. A. Morrissey probably wants a fresh background check for each and every purchase. A policy that I have always thought was...stupid.
