A Drug Enforcement Administration agent who stars in a popular online video that shows him shooting himself in the foot during a weapons demonstration for Florida children is suing over the tape's release, claiming that his career has been crippled and he's become a laughingstock due to the embarrassing clip's distribution. I have a litigious thought... As a firearms instructor, I feel I have been cast in a bad light by HIS actions. I actually had a woman ask if it was easy to shoot herself in the foot, she was very hesitant to take the class. She even mentioned "that DEA guy". She was convinced that she would shoot herself in the foot. That's IT I am LITIGATING.
You are affecting me more than I thought, David. My first thought after hearing he was going to file a lawsuit was, "Hey, that's the founding father of We're the only ones." Scary.
Lee, old buddy, old pal, you deserve every bit of laughter, derision, and contempt you have received over this incident. You are indeed the inspiration for Dave's "We re the only ones..." file. Live with it! You might also consider a career change, preferably one where you're not allowed to have a gun. I sincerely hope the judge throws your lawsuit out!
Hey Lee- I have a better idea: how about if the school system and all the parents of the kids you endangered file a class action suit against you for unlawful discharge of a firearm, plus oodles of punitive damages paid out to the kids you scared the hell out of. You made a big mistake, now suck it up and deal with the shame.
