Kennedy Dog Injured in Gun Mishap

Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) has been questioned by Hyannisport authorities for what police are characterizing as "alcohol-related accidental firearm discharges" at his family home that left a pet in need of emergency medical treatment.

Poor, poor Ted. First his car and girlfriend, and now his dog.

Of course we all know that it will end up being the guns fault!

I noticed the date as 4/1. Is this an April Fools joke? If this is real(and I don't doubt it) then it's amazing that a US Senator can get liquored up and "accidentally" shoot his dog and not a peep from the MSM. If you or I had been stone sober and had a negligent discharge and shot our pooch you can bet it would be a sound bite for the evening news then imagine what would happen if we had been drunk. You'd think that a rabidly anti-gun Senator doing the same thing would get some national attention(especially considering his past experience getting drunk and killing someone). It must be good to be a Kennedy! You can literally get away with murder.
