Limbaugh Gun Threat Neutralized By Deal

Under the deal filed Monday, Limbaugh cannot own a gun...
Why?

Why, indeed. And for how long?

If he did own any, I hope he squirrelled them away somewhere!

I got a theater review when I clicked the link.

As for Limbaugh, he has stated many times that he doesn't own a gun and hasn't for years. Yeah, I was real worried about him going on a murder spree in convenience stores. Are the doctors that hooked him on pain meds proscribed from gun ownership?

BTW, as much as many gun rights advocates agree with it, it is still unconstitutional to strip away second amendment rights or any other once the penalty is paid.

One of the classes of people federal law prohibits from being in possession of firearms are "Anyone who is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance."

I dunno if it was part of the original list of "prohibited persons" from the '68 GCA or if it was added when the list was changed as part of the '86 FOPA, but it's there.

Doesn't matter, if one isn't incarcerated he should be whole. If he cannot be trusted with full citizenship, he should still be incarcerated.

The constitution is the supreme law and it makes no provision for state mandated provisional citizenship.
