A city cop coming off his shift in the Bronx early yesterday shot and wounded a man who tried to carjack him at gunpoint, police said.Had this happened to a "law-abiding citizen," of course, they would have been toast. That's because they're not one of "The Only Ones."

I think Officer O'Connor has some explaining to do with regards to his "female companion" also. I know this neighborhood and men named O'Connor don't hang around there with "female companions" no matter what the time of day, let alone well past midnight. It sounds like a case of "looking for love in all the wrong places" and if O'Connor wasn't an "only one" he would be in deep s**t.
