Mr. Kinsella does his own argument in when he claims "the gun amnesty won't work and the kind of people who have guns won't turn them in." He is right of course, because with few exceptions (the only ones and such) only criminals possess handguns in Ireland. Handgun ownership is effectively outlawed. Mr. Kinsella should really be going on hunger strike in order acquire the arms needed to beat back the hordes of thugs terrorizing Ireland.
Personally, I wish ALL anti-gunners would go on a hunger strike; maybe that would clear out the gene pool a bit...
