Expel Phil Amicone From NRA

Unlike Congress, we mayors recognize that illegal guns are a national problem that requires a national solution because the gun laws of one state can have a drastic effect on other states.
Translation: Our government addiction promulgation policies have been so successful that our own debased constituents are wholly unsuited to the liberties and responsibilities of free men. But the resultant dependency has enhanced our power and control, so we're going to force ourselves on people who have so far escaped our grasp and aren't in the market for our "services." At gunpoint.

Mayor Amicone, a member of the National Rifle Association, spoke about his commitment to protecting his city from illegal guns while also protecting the Constitution’s Second Amendment.
Yeah--"enforce existing gun laws." Heard that one a few times before--where was it?--Waco, Ruby Ridge...

If the association had any sand, they'd expel Amicone for violation of the bylaws, specifically Article II, Purposes and Objectives, section 1:

"To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, especially with reference to the inalienable right of the individual American citizen guaranteed by such Constitution to acquire, possess, collect, exhibit, transport, carry, transfer ownership of, and enjoy the right to use arms, in order that the people may always be in a position to exercise their legitimate individual rights of self-preservation and defense of family, person, and property, as well as to serve effectively in the appropriate militia for the common defense of the Republic and the individual liberty of its citizens;"
But they didn't even have the integrity to expel Michael Moore--and that inaction itself is a violation of their bylaws.

Come to think of it, maybe they should also expel "no guns in schools" Wayne...

"Unlike Congress, we mayors recognize that illegal guns are a national problem that requires a national solution because the gun laws of one state can have a drastic effect on other states."

Translation: Because of our reckless disregard for Defending and Upholding the Constitution of the United States of America. (Which, BTW, we took a solemn oath to uphold and defend). We have ILLEGALLY turned a tool of defense into an "illegal gun". We have declared that the Second Amendment is antiquated and no longer necessary!

We are allowed to do this, because of the 9 feces-flinging monkeys with black robes and gavels in their paws. You see, they have taken it upon themselves to ARBITRARILY decide what parts of the U.S. Constitution, (A.K.A. - THE SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND), apply and what doesn't. We have reorganized the foundation of the country - No God, No Guns and most importantly, to us anyways, no Freedom! And we have totally laid aside the FACT that the People are the Legitimate, Supreme and Ultimate Authority. WE KNOW BETTER THAN YOU!

We Usurping and Tyrannical mayors look at the People as lazy, stupid sheep and treat them accordingly.
The mere fact of us joining together as we have. Is in FACT a criminal conspiracy, but they won't notice, (or care). So we're moving ahead at FULL-STEAM!

But not to worry. All of the perversed system is under our control, so there is nothing you sheeple can do about it. Relax! Go back to your T.V.'s, your wives and girlfriends! Drink up! Party hard! Nothing to worry about here! WE ARE IN COMPLETE AND TOTAL CONTROL!

David, until they expel LaPierre, they have no chance of my rejoining. Not that they give a damn, since I believe in the constitution.

E.David, they just think they have total control. All of us pissy bastards aren't dead yet, though they may have plans about that.

SA - Oh, I know bud. My comment was a semi-parody hoping to provoke thought, disgust and downright rage.

The good ole' NRA also wouldn't expel George H.W. Bush from the NRA after his "Executive Order" banning cosmetically challenged imported guns.

Subsequent to NRA’s refusal to expel this "friend of liberty," GHWB publicly resigned his NRA membership, and rubbed his resignation in the face of the NRA. So much for NRA’s political correctness. They couldn’t very well banish the PRESIDENT from the ranks of the NRA…. what kind of news would THAT have generated. Too bad that GHWB broke it off in the NRA’s ass with that stunt.

Maybe NRA is so addicted to the annual dues of its members, whether or not a member tries to ban guns or otherwise publicly attempt to quash what is left of our liberty, that they will not expel ANYONE.

They'd probably accept a membership check from Sarah Brady if it put another 35 bux in their coffers.

I'd resign if I didn't have a life membership. It's my intent to make them go broke sending me their magazine every month.

It's too bad that our gun club has to have over 50% NRA membership in order to get insurance for the range, but they'll never get another dime from me.

BTW - many of the NRA members at our range hold their noses while renewing their memberships.

Almost everyone who is actively pro-gun (except for the people from the shooting fraternity who are as opinionated and they are uninformed) understand that the NRA is an organization that can't afford to "win" the War on Guns. After all, were they to actually "win," they would have to put their money into shooting and education programs, instead of lining the pockets of all their alleged "pro-gun” lobbyists, who are fighting to “enforce existing laws.” Never-mind whether or not existing laws are unconstitutional as hell. For example, under NRA’s Project Exile scheme, NRA supports “The Only Ones” in California breaking down doors to arrest the “criminal law-breakers” who have the audacity to actually possess linked 50 Cal ammo and/or rifles, or California AG defined “unregistered assault weapons.” If logic follows, they have to also support busting those horrible lawless criminals who have a folding stock or flash-hider on an SKS rifle buried somewhere in their gun-safe.

After all, something must be done to combat “gun crimes,” and to get these guns “off the street.”

NRA also supports victim disarmament zones, like public schools. (Except for “The Only Ones,” nobody should have a gun on or near public schools. After all, sheer mayhem could break loose if law-abiding citizens were able to carry in victim disarmament zones. We all know that they wouldn’t be able to control themselves if they could actually carry guns within 1000 ft. of a school. They’d all go berserk, and kill everyone in sight.

That’s the sort of hypocrisy that the NRA is now famous for. On one hand the tout the law abiding nature of gun owners. On other hand, they apparently believe that guns in the hands of law abiding citizens will cause crime, but for victim disarmament zones.

Enforce existing laws. Here’s what that will bring us. BTW – the following link - http://www.givethemback.com/ is brought to you by the NRA. It shows how some of “The Only Ones” reacted during the Katrina disaster.

Funny how the NRA is “springing into action” now that members of “The Only JBTs” disarmed members of the public.

Under the NRAs “Project Enslave,” (oops – I mean Exile) if there was “an existing law” that called for disarming the public after a disaster, the NRA would be all for enforcing it. After all, it would be “an existing law”…

Traitors.

Whenever this sort of crowd says "Congress needs to create a common-sense national policy," they conveniently fail to spell out just what policy they would like . . . .
