O.K., let me get this straight: The boy was nearly expelled for trying to do the RIGHT THING?!?!? ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!!!!!
I'll be that boy will NEVER trust the "authorities" again! I know I wouldn't!
And yes, they did the boy a favor, because he's out of the evil indoctrination center.
IIRC, they did expel him, for two years. Best thing that they could have done for him and I hope he learned well that lesson about trusting Board of Education people.
Don't act so surprised. The reward for doing the right thing in this country has been to be bitch-slapped for a long time now. I did something similiar in the Army in Germany in the 1970's and like to had my face scrubbed off with a sander. That's the day I stopped being a boy scout. My recommended decision is for the school board be summmarily dismissed, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, a $10,000.00 fine, and expulsion from the U.S.A. for a period of not less than 10 years.

They already expelled him. I' sure the parents simply told these idiots that they will homeschool the kid instead of submitting to their insanity.
Giving them "permission" is just a lame attempt at face saving.

Question: Wasn't the principal also in possession of a gun in a prohibited place? Should not he be in jail if this really is a zero tolerance policy?
