Another unitended consequence is that their enemies foreign and especially domestic, look at this stuff and chuckle with delight on how easy it will be to take them down. Let's see, the United Emirate of England, Scotland, and Ireland.
I don't believe this story. Someone must have misinterpreted the report. It must be a mistake.
You can't own a handgun, rifle, etc.
in England. Ergo there is no guncrime there.
