Air Head Judge Rules Air Gun a Weapon

An AirSoft gun might not be able to cause that much physical damage, but Judge John S. Kennedy determined Monday that the plastic BB-shooting guns, designed to be safer than traditional metal projectile BB and pellet guns, are capable of causing serious bodily injury - at least to the eye.
And for that, this evil tyrant sentenced the young man to "130 days to 23 months" of captivity, locking him in with brutal, vicious animals who will no doubt welcome the fresh, innocent young meat.

The bast*** had even "tabled an offered plea." Oh, but he relied on stare decisis, woudn't you know. Nothing we can do about that--our hands are tied.

This kid got railroaded by an absurd "law," a more absurd precedent, a "public defender", and a cowardly judicial tyrant.

It's nice if you have the faith to believe that some day, these black-robed Nazgûl will stand before another Judge, but it would also be nice to see them reap rewards for their tyranny in this life, and wind up in the same chains they worked their lives to help forge.

God, this has me mad.

from the story: 'Weapons listed under the weapon on school property statute include firearms of any type, instruments capable of cutting, nun-chucks and any "implement capable of inflicting serious bodily injury."
Serious bodily injury, according to the law, is anything "which creates a substantial risk of death or which causes serious, permanent disfigurement or a protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ."'

I guess that means ALL the shop classes are a thing of the past; a little hard to cut wood without a saw or chisel or knife. No hammers or drills. No screwdrivers. No grinding tools. No shears. Art shop gone too: no scissors, no exacto knifes. Must be pretty hard to run a chemistry lab too; even the physics lab would be a "dangerous" place. Hell, we better send every kid who wears boots to school to jail too.

Labeling him an air head is a major insult to air heads everywhere.

Negative. The idea that our hands are tied is only an illusion. We still retain all the Power, if we can just believe....

"As a man thinks so is he".

Not to mention the baseball teams, Bob. After all, wecan't allow those eeeevil assault bats on school property!

We are ruled by tyrants and fools!(sometimes the same thing)!

and the football team, no driving to school, no food either.

NERF guns are next, sorry Johnny, you'll shoot your eye out with that soft foam ball.

Hell, lets take it to the next logical step. sticks and stones. Birds, their droppings from a height may put out your eye as they eat stones to aid in digestion.

re-fing-diculous! I think what we really need is the folks in white coats to either pad the walls of these so-called courtrooms or to haul these lunatics off to one of their very own.

David,

On the way back to the courtroom during Wayne's "trial" I made the comment to Oscar that one day, the very individuals that were prosecuting Wayne would also stand in the docket. Except, they will not like it when they are judged. There will be no plea bargain, the Judge cannot be persuaded to see things differently, and cannot be bought off. In fact, all the courtroom procedures they learned in this life will do them no good. They will be found guilty, and there will be nothing they can do about it. The sad fact is that, unlike the antics they pull in our courts, they will be judged righteously. They think they run the show, but in that day they will find out that every word they uttered and every evil deed they have done will be placed before them - including this trial. They will remember what they did to Wayne as it will be brought up again and they will have to answer for it.

Oscar thought for a moment, and then agreed.

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15, KJV)

We must remember, this is NOT the end of things. There is a life to come.

Exactly right, Paul W. But in the meantime, they sure can inflict a great deal of injustice while they live, and until they DO die, they don't believe they will face Judgement. So what do we do in the meantime?

here's an idea.

What are the odds that they hand out free condoms in this school?

The students assume that theirs won't break. The get an STD, or pregnant.

Perhaps, under the definitions in this law the person handing them out, the school system, the board could be brought up on charges...after all, according to the article the law reads:

...and any "implement capable of inflicting serious bodily injury."

It doesn't specify if that object has to be meant to do so or could do so if it were to break.

Make sure this was a very public trial and show the stupidity of these kinds of laws and their wording. Expose and publicly ridicule the scum that write them.

They want to be bound by case law well, lets make sure they have some real whoppers to have to explain to people. Maybe that'll wake some folks up. Maybe?

To Paul W., I hope and pray we can find some way to incarcerate Jimm Hendren for his treason and criminal acts in the courtroom.

I sincerely hope he is not married and that he has no children. No one should be put to the shame that should bring by acts of another. My father was a career criminal, but unlike Hendren, he was also a man, and a patriotic one. Were he still alive he would stand head and shoulders above the dross we now have in positions of authority.

He once told me he was no different than judges and cops with the exception that he was more honest about it. Time has proven his words true.

"implement capable of inflicting serious bodily injury"

That definition certainly covers pens and pencils, which will now have to be banned from school grounds. Ever see what a #2 pencil can do to a human eyeball?
Or maybe it's just politically incorrect to have anything that resembles a gun, and they just want to rationalize punishing that person.

Some would say this has already happened.
