We're the Only Ones With a Vested Interest Enough

A police officer making a traffic stop escaped serious injury when a bullet fired accidentally by a fellow officer struck his protective vest, police said.
I wonder if they'll start calling the negligent "Only One" "Clod" Torres...?

Here's another take on this.

Gee, I can't imagine why they would run away from those officers?

It's not as if their lives were in danger or anything.....

With everything we know about killer cops, I think, I might try to run if I had no idea why I was being stopped and they approached with guns drawn.

I did notice the paper named names. Unusually responsible of them. I thing Clod Torres will be ok, he can just say he feared for his life. He saw a gun and did what any cop would do. No time to think just shoot, shoot, shoot.

Near as I can tell the shot cop is lucky they didn't all go on a feeding frenzy and shoot at him 41 times. See, they are special. A non cop would have met that fate. This proves how special they are.

Which brings up the question, "How come the other officers can use judgment and hold fire due to the situation only when another cop is involved, but cannot be expected to do the same thing in the 'extreme stress of the moment' against an unarmed citizen?"
