What was I saying? Oh yeah:
The laws weren't on the books when the piece was brought back, and likely not on the books when it came to rest in the library.
So if the ATF takes action by either arresting someone, or by confiscating the property, it's the equivalent of passing a law that outlaws something after the fact, then going back and exacting punishment for the act that is now illegal.
Uh... Which is illegal according to the Big C.
Also: People who are not the rightful owners of property can really offer only opinions on what to do with it, such as "destroy it."
David, the problem with parasites starving to death is that in order for that to happen the host must first die.
I'm agin it. I think we should poison the parasite with a large dose of constitutionalized liberty which would destroy the parasite and be a benefit to the health of the host.
