"Son, let me explain something to you. You don't poke a wolverine with a sharp stick unless you want your balls ripped off." -- Grandpa Vanderboegh's Rule of Life #32.
Mike Vanderboegh gives a gun confiscation enthusiast a lesson in thinking things through to their logical consequences.

Mike Vanderboegh has a rare gift of rhetoric.
It doesn't get any better than this:
"A successful exit strategy and a good pair of running shoes are necessary when tempting fate by poking a wolverine with a sharp stick, especially a whole bunch of ARMED wolverines. Better yet, the gun confiscationists should simply drop that stick right now and back away slowly. If, that is, they value their testicles."
CLASSIC! Bravo sir!
1894C--here is a link to the article you just posted. I had to delete your comment--The "Fair Use" doctrine doesn't cover posting copyrighted works in their entirety.
Mr. Vanderboegh has, as always, written superbly. When I wrote about the same article Sunday, I wasn't quite sure that Seck was necessarily advocating disarmament as being better than an uninfringed right to keep and bear arms. I might have to reconsider that.
Sorry bout' that.
I should have considered that. Thanks for the correction.
It is interesting to see how the facade of "reasonable restrictions" is falling rapidly away now that Parker is seen as threatening the gun control agenda.
Blatant calls for total bans and forced disarmament are becoming common amongst the gun control set recently. This represents a serious change in their rhetoric.
They are either becoming more confident in their ability to carry out their schemes of more desperate. I'm not sure which would more worrisome.
"... If, that is, they value their testicles."
Seems to assume facts not in evidence, i.e., that they have testicles (metaphorically speaking).
"...However, in order to enforce such absolute gun control, severe penalties, including lengthy jail terms and huge fines, will need to be imposed on illegal gun owners. Moreover, active measures will need to be taken to disarm existing fugitives, outlaws, and gang members who already own guns."
Heck, on this part I agree with the guy. There should be penalties for illegal users of guns. Isn't it already against the law for fugitives, outlaws and gang members to own guns? Since this citizen is none of the above and none of my firearms are illegal, I've got nothing to worry about, right? [/snark]
