The Battle of Longue-Pointe was fought on September 24, 1775, during the American Revolutionary War and was a British victory. A detachment of General Montgomery's army under Ethan Allen was defeated by Quebec militia outside the gates of Montreal.

Heh! This is serendipitous, but it's still an error. This stuff goes on all the time anymore, and since they can't stop using the wrong homonyms, among other gaffs, it's no wonder they can't get the facts straight, and keep parroting the agenda.
I once saw one of these that made me LOL. Babs was getting an award, and the picture's caption said she was receiving a"plague" instead of a "plaque". Oh, if only!
