Shannon Takes the Cake

Shannon: “You can buy these, body armor piercing bullets, at a gun show locally?”

Sheriff Bradshaw: “Oh absolutely.”

Shannon: “I can buy this at our local gun show?”

Sheriff Bradshaw: “You can buy any of those--a bullet is a bullet.”

This means anyone, even a team of Contact Five Investigators, with no training, and no license to carry a gun can buy bullets—lots of them.
And not just "Contact Five Investigators," but undercover "Contact Five Investigators." I wonder if they ran into this guy? He's generally disguised as a potted plant, but sometimes hides in the covered trash containers à la Agent 13 from Get Smart.

Shannon Cake, you silly, incompetent little slice of "Authorized Journalism." You actually don't know how ridiculously ignorant you sound, do you?

Which makes your pretending to speak with professional authority nothing less than malpractice.

I find that if I forgo the casing, primer, and powder, I can load 18 bullets into my Dan Wesson .357 Revolver.

Someone should tell her she could buy high capacity clips of ammo too!

"When we stopped by a local gun show in December we spotted the dangerous bullets the sheriff told us about." How old are you Shannon? My daughter is 6. Would you like to come over and play? LMAO! Ok, honestly, this is a joke right?

This is just VPC talking points put out as "news" I can't remember who had the post, but someone was just talking recently about "armor piercing bullets" that would comprise just about ANY rifle caliber.

How about:

This means anyone, even a team of Contact Five Investigators, with no training, and no license to drive a car can buy gasoline—lots of it.

"dangerous bullets" well uh... DUH!

Email her and tell her what you think. Or email the whole "Contact 5 investigation team" at:

contact5@wptv.com

I watch that news station every day and it's always full of crap but she's actually one of the better reporters. She's actually a very good reporter, usually. She's hot too (though the pic on her bio is horrid and does not do her beauty justice). She's very well respected and usually she just has to fart and she wins an award for it:

As soon as I saw this story air I knew it would rile people up.
It does make some sense though, if you need a licence to buy a weapon, why not be required to show some ID to purchase ammo? Like the guy in the report says... you need ID to show you're over 18 to buy cigarettes... I do understand her flawed argument.

However, why make law-abiding citizens jump through hoops and be punished because there are assholes out there acquiring weapons illegally? Work harder to catch the criminals and keep them off our streets. Don't go after the good guys and try to restrict their freedom.

Ms. Cake must do better next time! I never got an overly liberal vibe from her until now. Guess nobody is perfect!

I emailed them and asked if I could have the bullets since they obviously don't need them. I told them that I could safely dispose of them. I bet they don't respond.

Shannon, you ignorant slut. I bet she would just sink into the ground if she considered what was in the silos in Kansas, Nebraska, South and North Dakota. Not only can the devices there penetrate body armour, they can FRY up to 5 million people in New York Minute. Hey, wait, if.....naw, never mind. At any given moment, our govt. has 15-20 million body armour piercing CARTRIDGES in stockage. And 80 million estimated lawful gunowners have, I would say, off the top of my own gray head, 800 million more of the same. Somebody hold me! I'm frightened!

I highly doubt they'll reply to any of you. Shannon is probably shaking in her boots... she doesn't seem like the type of person that ever gets criticized for her work (that's because usually it's not shit).

It's a bit much to be calling her a slut though... really... that's not nice.

I did some research and she did a story a few years ago on concealed weapons permits and how your neighbor could be "licensed to pack heat" and you don't know about it. Oooooooh! She seems to be very pro-gun control.

Still think she's hot tho.

Monster--I suspect you're younger than me 'n Sean. That was a regular line from the original "Saturday Night Live," when Dan Ackroyd and Jane Curtain would do their Weekend Update Point/Counterpoint debate, and he would routinely begin his rebuttal with "Jane, you ignorant slut."

Oh right. I'm 27, if that's young?
