Getting lost gets you on The List. It doesn't take much. There's that harmonization of laws again; the North American Union. And the Supreme Court just ruled that even if the search was illegal, the evidence is still admissible. That sounds Mexican to me. They couldn't convict Clinton during his impeachment, under SCOTTISH law, but us, now, that's different.
A Colorado state legislator said Co. doesn't need any more "illiterate peasants" coming up from Mexico. Well, in their eyes, aren't we all?

That said, It's probably not the case as it's a big shit hole down there.
If he's a good guy when the time comes I'm sure someone will loan him a gun, unconstitutional laws be damned...that is as long as he IS one of the good guys and not the type to just follow orders in places like NO after Katrina.
I've driven through El Paso a couple of times and was very cautious about just where I got off I 10. Based on what the spc stated his intentions were it is entirely plausible that he just whoopsied. Sadly, we have become a country where "mens rea" is no longer necessary in order to be found guilty of a crime.
OTOH, with the number of Mexican soldiers crossing the border they really ought to return the favor and let the poor kid go.
We really should declare war on Mexico and take it over. The only reason I think we don't is that, although we don't know how much the Bush family increases their wealth due to Mexican corruption, the Bush family knows.
Look for the next president to be another bought and paid for agent of a foreign power.
