I am glad they are taking this to court.
I can't help but wonder how the two cops survived the encounter when the innocent non-threatening people realized what they were doing.
Those are two very lucky assholes. But patience is wearing thin all across the country and if this trial goes the way I expect, I think we will see some peaceable people refusing to submit and letting the bodies fall where they may.
Just my guess, but it doesn't seem it wouldn't take too many more criminals in uniform to foment a backlash. Even people who do not have an enthusiasm for the second amendment, and seldom concern themselves with weighty ruminations on liberty or any of the other guaranteed rights of free Americans and their diminshing size in our culture are starting to become aware, afraid, and angry.
Three hundred million angry people is a force to be reckoned with. Even the ten per cent that may be expected to be more actively engaged is a formidable force. At some point they are apt to quit excusing such behavior as their own vulnerability is displayed to them by uniformed and black robed criminals.
I sure hope they win!
