Forget something?
If you'd like to know what he's got to say for himself for supporting the Lautenberg Amendment, send an email to his campaign and to the LP and tell them you expect a candidate who is truly different to give a straight answer.

David, what an excellent job you have done by pointing this information out. Fact is the Lautenberg Gun Laws are some of the very worst attacks on American citizens, ever. That thought of going retroactive on petty crimes to take away an American's Constitutional rights is as sinful as anything an elected lawmaker can engage in. Bob Barr did just that, he attacked people's Constitutional rights damning people with no recourse to get justice with the retroactive part of the bill. This sets the stage to take away citizens Constitutional rights if another law goes retroactive such as drunk driving. You can't be trusted with a car so you can't be trusted with a firearm, will be the logic. But of course you can keep your car but just not your firearm.
Bob Barr is of the worst the LP could have taking in because I will never vote for such a person who made sure the Lautenberg gun laws were written so that they were sure to pass into law and fend off all legal challenges. The LP could have saved the day with millions of people by offering up a decent person to vote for over McCain. I now have lost any respect for that party offering up Bob Barr, idiots!
A shame, I was hoping for a legitimate third candidate. I guess I'm back to writing in Ron Paul, if only to make a statement.
I've voted for the Libertarian candidate in every election starting in 1984. Not this year; it'll be a Ron Paul write in or blank.
One thing everyone seems to miss out on with this matter.
Bob Barr was a house member and Frank Lautenberg was a senator. This means Bob Barr had to go out of his way to help Lautenberg's case on this bill.
