City police officers in one Florida county will have unrestricted authority to make traffic stops outside of their jurisdiction beginning Aug. 1.How much is that bridge again?
"We're stressing that revenue-producing is not the purpose here," he said.
But fine. Let's take him at his word. It's for a nobler purpose.
Heck, we saw that same "everybody benefits" rationale for allowing "Only One" nationwide concealed carry. Except when they have cause to think twice...
You know what we really need: nationwide jurisdicition. Say, how about a federally-directed national police force, with jurisdiction everywhere? It would sure help get rid of some of those pesky regional pressures when people don't know who you are, where you come from, where you live...
Thulsa said it, I believe it, that settles it (16:45 into the video):
We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.Except, as Bob Unruh reports in WorldNetDaily, now he's trying to make it look like he didn't say it. And the "Authorized Journalists" are playing right along.
But in any case, when The Lightworker uses the term ""civilian national security force," I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume two things: He's not talking about the citizen militia of the Second Amendment, and he's got bigger fish to fry than traffic revenues.

Read the description of the Energy Corps.
I assume you sent this to Bob over at WND. Maybe he just needs a little example of what to do.
cue memory hole jokes...
Don't laugh, we're on the slow track to that already. I heard on the local radio station this morning a discussion of section 287g of the 1996 Immigration Act, which gives authority to local jurisdictions to enforce federal law, if they want to participate in the program.
Section 287g details
ICE, ICE, baby.
the sheriff's aggreement, in writing or not, does not negate the law. "Unrestricted authority"?
Hell since the sonofabitch is giving something away that isn't his, I invite him to give them "unrestricted authority" where I live. I will restrict their authority.
I certainly hope the citizens of Broward county do some restricting of their own. If they allow this, they deserve it.
A CNN reporter who did a somewhat-critical story about the million-member terrorist watch list for travelers found himself added to the list by the TSA. TSA denies it, but the reporter says he has trouble EVERY TIME he flies.
There was a big Ron Paul and liberty rally in DC. Anyone see it in the mainstream media? Me neither.
Arrogance and more arrogance. But also some fear. They HATE for our ideas to get out there where they can be considered fairly and adopted. They need to define and limit the debate, or they lose. It's why they require 30,000 signatures to put a state candidate in a stinking ballot. It's not to save ink...
I knew this was coming in my lifetime. I'm glad it's before I'm officially old.
Certainly the civilian national security force will be armed with binoculars and cell phones, but NOT with guns. That would be contrary to what Obama stands for.
They'll be reporting the people WITH guns. The free-thinkers, the unorthodox, the questioners of authority. They have them already in Britain, in lime-green vests, watching everyone for any suspicious activity, like putting a hand in a pocket.
Please don't let them get a start here.
Give me liberty, or don't get between me and it. It's not safe.
