In Contrast to Media Myth

Predominately handguns were used in the assaults on officers and all but one were obtained illegally, usually in street transactions or in thefts. In contrast to media myth, none of the firearms in the study was obtained from gun shows.
I find it hard to believe that a 5-year 180 page FBI research summary can tell us anything that the Brady or the John McCain/Barack Obama Campaigns haven't already throughly debunked...right?

Every type of gun is the criminal's "weapon of choice," ALL "easily available." "Completely unregulated," in fact. The streets are "awash in them."
You mean I don't have to go to the gun shop and fill out all those forms and pay all that money and show two IDs and have the state police know what I'm doing? I can just walk down the sidewalk with a net...?
It's frequently said that the FBI disagrees with out right to own guns. What's THEIR agenda with this report, I wonder, if they're debunking "media myths."

Sorry, "ouR right."
How 'bout that ad with the SWAT ninja turtles advancing toward the camera and the headline "Is you FAMILY protected?"
From such, yes, by policy .223.
Anyway, the report comes right out and says that criminals laugh at gun laws. Meaning what? That civilian possession of them supplies the black market and is the REAL gun "problem" that must be eliminated?
Ask a Democrat candidate. Or a Republican one.
They STILL want gun shows shut down, or practically. They STILL want gun and ammo registration. They want to be able to resist the Resistance.

A little side not on Barack, he's on the cover of Time Magazine for the 7th time this year.
Which proves the media has an agenda and fair news reporting is out the window.
