It must be that time of month again--Martha is bleeding all over the Internet.
But that boring, foot-stomping indignant shrew isn't what I want to talk about. Check out the comments. Gotta say it cracks me up to see Rady Ananda pass herself off as someone who "favor[s] the Second Amendment" in a transparent attempt to plug AHSA.
Go ahead Rady, tell us all about your gun advocacy.

Those AHSA-holes are everywhere these days. What do they care? Either way a gun-hating traitor is getting elected. They should be celebrating.
Okay, I'll take you up on your invitation to "tell us all about your gun advocacy."
I fully support the Second Amendment: "A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed."
I am a gun owner, was raised by gun owners, come from a family of hunters, and agree with all members of my family (Repubs, Dems and Independents) that our right to bear arms should be unabridged.
Would you like me to write an article to that effect? Would you like to me to interview you?
~ Rady Ananda
technically, that's your position, not your advocacy record.
and, the second amendment is not about hunting. hunting doesn't keep you free. being constantly prepared for the violent overthrow of a tyrannical government keeps you free.
perhaps you were thinking of the Second Befungement:
"A well-regulated Hunter/Gatherer Collective being necessary to the deliciousness of a tasty venison Steak, the right of the people to keep and bear Single-shot Hunting Arms with Federally-Approved Ammunition During the Alloted Days of the Hunting Season shall not be infringed."
There ARE alternatives to NRA, but AHSA is not one of them. JPFO and GOA offer REAL pro-gun alternatives. AHSA just offers an alternative to rationality.
Martha Rosenberg is staff cartoonist for the Evanston Roundtable.
She should stick to drawing cartoons since a piece of paper has more intelligence than Rosenberg does in her head, she can't even get her "facts" right.
Rady, welcome. I confess your assertions surprise me--someone congratulating Martha on her consistent hatred of RKBA does not fit any mold I've ever seen for a 2A advocate. I did a cursory check of your work published online before I posted this and found no prior advocacy--perhaps you could point me to what I missed or perhaps you haven't written on it? And finally, that you could be involved in 2A advocacy and are just now hearing about AHSA--when published exposes on that operation have been around for over 3 years--suggests that if RKBA is important to you, it may be to your benefit to keep current.
So sure, I'd be delighted to host an article by you on the unabriged right of the people to keep and bear arms. I'd be interested to know what gun control laws you think need to be repealed, what further gun control laws you think should be enacted, your thoughts on concealed and open carry--and if there are places where it should be restricted, your thoughts on "assault weapons", machineguns and .50 cal rifles, "gun free school zones, and whatever else you think is relevant.
My belief is that most people stop reading after 1,000 words, but I'd leave the length to your discretion. The only other thing I'd ask is that you check in on the day we post your article in case people in Comments have any questions or if there are things you'd like to clarify.
And yeah, sure, if you'd like to interview me, that would be fun. My edress is included in my CV in the left sidebar--I'd be delighted to answer whatever questions you'd like to ask.
Thanks for your kind welcome, David. I've sent you an email.
