A Kinder, Gentler 4473

They have checkboxes now for the “Yes/No” question section.
Which means we can now expect BATFU to close a dealer down for "willful violations" if he accepts "X" instead of "✔"...

And God forbid you just put a slash mark through 'em, like I usually do.

what was so hard about them changing to accept Y for yes and N for no?

or YEA and NAY?

checkboxes just mean less attention to what you're writing.

what happens when two different types of forms are kept on file?

It's all calculated as a way to steal our guns so we won't be able to "STB".

Kent,
The problem is that firearms are a nicelt mature technology. Not only do we have effective firearms being built in the heart of africa with hand tools, but please recall that the venerable Browning machine guns were originally created with 19th century technology. Imagine what can be done with a modern hobbyists metal working tools.

I don't see that as a problem at all. At least not for our side. :)

It might be for some of us clumsy, half blind bastards.

He forgot to mention question 11(m).

m. Were we actually granted the power in the Constitution to do any of this? [ ] No [X] Hell No

This, apparently is the new form, although it appears that they’ve delayed the switch until January.

I’m still not quite clear on whether or not one will be legally able to build (for example) an AR pistol out of any AR lower receiver (as long as it doesn’t have a shoulder stock attached), without any additional paperwork/fees.

Don't worry SA, there are plenty of people who might not make great "font lines" types, but can crank out things all day long...plus when it comes to that all the rules go out the window.
