But We Did it Anyway

...I think every one of us knew, it was illegal when it was put before the voters.
And that doesn't qualify as a criminal conspiracy?

Illegal acts by government? That just means they haven't gotten around to printing the new City Code yet. The next edition will explain why such unconstitutional moves ARE legal: there's a CRIME CRISIS, you know. Banning guns here, and there, and everywhere, a few at a time, isn't solving the CRISIS. Never mind that most neighborhoods are only aware of the CRISIS from news reports, since it's limited to the same neighborhoods where there's been a CRISIS since 1928.
If their goal is to kill what little sympathy,what fractional benefit of the doubt, we have for them and their true motives, fine. Some people will falter at the moment of truth. Whatever makes it easier for them.
