A “large Stash of weapons” must be larger than a “small cache of weapons” (see post above) but smaller than an arsenal. Most of the gun-owners I am acquainted with (me included) would qualify as possessors of an arsenal, but then, I’ve been accumulating stuff for 60 years.
“Zuniga was riding in one of two trucks, where soldiers found a large stash of weapons, including two AR-15 assault rifles, .38 specials, 9mm handguns, nine magazines, 633 cartridges and $53,300 in U.S. currency,…” Damn small trucks.
The photo accompanying this story depicts two AR-15 type rifles and three handguns. Yet, the story mentions the arrest of seven “gunmen” and a ?gun-moll?. Maybe two of the men and the beauty queen were just wantabe apprentice gunmen. Or maybe they were the communication experts. You can see in the photo what could be defined as an arsenal/cache/stash of cell phones. There is no US currency depicted in the news photo. The money must have self destructed.
