I'd like to see more bans on licensing handguns or any firearm myself.
I had no idea, until that Irish Times article, that "The Troubles" was a phrase actually used in journalism over there. Nor that their temporary ban lasted 30 years or that it was EVER repealed.
Here's hoping Ireland can keep from being banned, and peel their rights back to the year...when was it that commoners had the right to bear arms in Eire again? I'm not sure I can remember back that far...
