It makes me wonder why some army doesn't just go take over the country. They've already abdicated it.

Maybe instead of the Free State Project, we could just all move to England, with our guns, and refuse to disarm.

OK, I'm not serious, but someday, someone without morals, IS gonna be serious. What will they do then?

The Islamists are doing it by birthrate and migration, Kent. Recently an Imam in the UK said that when they become more than 50% of the population they intend to make non-muslims wear special badges like Jews under Nazi occupation. I don't think he was joking. Don't have a link handy but it was in the London Telegraph not that long ago. They don't seem to have any problems, as it is, beheading and stabbing to death UK citizens and other "apostates". It will only get worse.

The UK is a sick, diseased society when individual self defense is derided, discouraged and looked upon as an act of aggression.
This has been a decay spanning decades but several recent events are quite illustrative.
The capitulation of the British Navy sailors to an Iranian gunboat squad back in 2007 was a shocking example of this passivity and sent a dangerous message to all of the West's enemies.
There was a link on WOG to a UK article just a week or so ago, that described a British business tycoon as "courageously evading" terrorists. I don't judge the individual concerned at all, but that pretty much illustrates the British mindset right there, when scurrying around and hiding is described as a heroic action. Up is Down and Black is White.
It breaks my heart to see Britain, the cradle of all English-speaking civilization, the nation that ferociously and courageously defied Hitler's might, reduced to this.

I lived in London back in '91, on business, partly because my mother was born there and after many trips during my youth, I was familiar with the "culture".(It always struck me as humorous that a group of NY businessmen thought the Brits were a "completely different culture". Anyway...)
On several occassions during my year there, The Evening Standard(a conservative paper), along with several other news sources, reported that foreign families(usually Pakistani, Indian, or of some Arabic background) of 10 to 12relatives, were flying into Heathrow Airport. Upon arrival they were claiming "Member of the Commonwealth" Status, and demanding asylum.
Well, not only was asylum granted, but these families were given instant Citizenship. As citizens, they were then afforded Public Housing to meet their needs. Unfortunately, if you happened to be a Native-born Briton waiting your turn for YOUR housing, your name slid back a spot for each "Newly Approved" family unit(HMMM, sounds firmiliar, don't it?).
The saddest part of the whole situation was that the average Brit that I encountered felt that the Foreign Nationals were "Entitled" to what they received, due to "The Empires" history of malicious behavior. I suppose that because my acquaintances were "professionals" they did not feel too very put upon. I often wonder if they would change their actions back then, knowing now what they have done to their once great nation.
Interestingly, at that time, the Brits laughed at America's "Politics of Equality" and how it would ruin the USA by the turn of the century.
But I digress...Due to my English heritage, I have paid close attention to their unfortunate and precipitous decline, and can attest to the fact that, after they took away the public's right to own firearms for protection, it didn't take long before the Minister of some such department decided that pocketknives ought also be made illegal. In fact, some lunatic Labour(i.e., Liberal-Progressive) Justice declared that "NO-ONE has any right to self-defence".
The last act of ridiculous government overreach was that fire extinguishers should be banned. The reason: The chemicals they contain are dangerous to humans(although some of my readings indicate that some lawyers felt that such a large item might be used to go after "uninvited" visitors).
It is a shame to watch the nation from which we were created die such a fast and unnecessary death. At the same time, I can only pray that sensible American's are paying attention to this debacle and will do everything in their powers to ensure that US "Leaders" are NEVER permitted to drag this great nation down that S**T covered road to becoming inconsequential in the world.
