Too bad he uses white text and black background. It makes reading something that could very well be an excellent read too stressful for my eyes.

light grey text on a black background is the least offensive presentation possible on a monitor. it presents the minimal amount of radiation from the monitor to the eye for optimal contrast, black pixels being more conservative than others. black on white is better on paper. white on black, only one step away, hurts like hell after a while.

all of them will hurt if your monitor's contrast is set too low, however. then you have to strain to see anything at all.
