We talked yesterday about the woman with the protective order losing her head over her estranged husband, who was trying so hard to create a positive light. I think it would be funny to see the idiot cleric who advocates this barbaric crap try his advice out on, say...this lady...who would positively put his lights out.
I think the resultant beating would be good enough for Pay-per-View. The thumps and howls would be comedy gold.

I've talked to Muslim women. The really sad thing is that most of them actually buy into this crap. They have been conditioned all of their lives that they are second class, and that their very souls depend on being subservient.
How do you help people who are bound and determined to remain this way? It's really not much different than any woman in an abusive relationship, or anyone who refuses to take responsibility for themselves and their lives/safety.
Can we help any of them? I don't know. Sad.
Don't look for NOW to step up to the plate they are far to busy making sure that another 50 million babies are butchered to death.
Forgive me for being a technique stickler, but in addition to encouraging women to shoot and to protect themselves, we should also encourage everyone to do so safely. The picture, here, does one thing conspicuously well--she is properly observing the Golden Rule--but it also features the abhorrent "Sabrina pose". Were she to have an ND at this point, she would almost certainly lose both her sight and her hearing.
The pose is a Hollywoodism, loved by cameramen because it gets the gun and the face in the same closeup shot.
Better, for my money, would be a side-by-side comparison. To make the same point that the current picture makes, this could consist of two identically dressed women, side by side, with the caption, "One of these women is hiding something. Which one would give you the gun, and which one will 'give you the gun'? Best you beat wisely."
"So what is the next measure?"
Well, infibulation. Many Muslim women accept that barbarity as well.
