All You Need to Know About the Nursing Home Shooting

The gunman was stopped by a single shot. [More]

OK, you might also want to know this:
He came in with a shotgun, a rifle and a couple other kinds of weapons...
You hear that, Fudds?

Oh, look: One more thing you need to know--the nursing home is a "gun free zone."

"single shot to the chest fired by a decorated police officer"
You forgot to mention that the shot was fired by a especially special Only One. His skills must be tremendously superior to the rest of us.

Sarcasm aside, I am glad he was able to perform his duty, however disappointed that there were no responsible citizens on the scene that could help remedy the rampager more quickly.

Anyone else notice the media spin? The SHOOTER committed the crime.

Had there been a black gun involved, "assault weapon" would have been the lead story.

This guy whacked out and my hunch he was doing drugs giving to him by his doctor.

"his estranged wife worked there, police said Monday."

Hadn't spoken since 2001 when they separated. Now THAT'S obsessive. Maybe he SHOULD have been on some heavy medication.
He had "a history of becoming violent." Sounds like HE should have been in some kind of "home" himself. One with no doorknobs on the inside.
Anyway, you didn't do this and neither did I, and I refuse to suffer for and pay for things people do hundreds of miles away.
The system failed to protect people from this man pre-2001, then failed again, then INTENTIONALLY failed the people with a gun-free zone.

Hospitals and nursing homes are
indeed free fire zones. Gives
one furiously to think.
