O’Carroll said the veteran paramedic was trying to protect his patient and that the trooper had no reason to stop the ambulance, let alone try and arrest White. The trooper’s arms were bruised when White resisted arrest, James said. [More]We talked about this here.
On the job injuries? I'm surprised the "Only One's" not claiming carpal tunnel syndrome from repetitive work-related throttlings.

Dash-cam video of the authoritarian, life-endangering thug in action. Punk deserves bruises on more than his arms.

And the delusional bully thinks it proves he was justified.
TXMarko sent me this last link, along with the following commentary:
The Ambulance yielded as soon as it could, another vehicle was in its way, yielding to the ambulance.
He was apparently running high-speed Code 3 to pick up his wife at the restaurant. A “Mystery Woman” enters the vehicle at the restaurant (purported to be his wife), and off he goes again to start trouble.
Why is he running Code 3 after picking up his wife, and involving her in the dangerous “chase”?
The ambulance immediately yields and stops.
The cop disrespects the authority of the paramedic immediately, even after the P-medic informs him that he is the senior official onboard the ambulance.
Even after being told that they have a patient onboard, and that this can be sorted out at the Hospital, the little tyrant still presses and escalates the issue.
The press release on Fox above states that the Troopers decided not to press charges against the P-medic because it would leave that County without a Paramedic. Last time I checked the law was supposedly the law, regardless of circumstances?
The tyrants’ attitude pisses me off to no freakin’ end. His attorney trots out that he is a US Navy Vet that just got back from a tour in Iraq.
I hope you can find the opportunity to work this in, David. The video says it all.
This is an out-of-control child throwing a hissy fit because he didn’t get his butt kissed just the way he likes it (or he was late picking up the wife for dinner, what an excuse to risk public lives).

This story was also broadcast on the Tuesday Noon newscast by the ABC affilliate in Tampa following yesterday's newscast on the Fox affilliate.
On an ambulance crew, the EMT or Paramedic in charge is usually not the driver. Sometimes a firefight or other qualified individual is recruited to drive while the usual crew works with the patient, such as when CPR is done. If the crew chief tells the driver to keep driving, he keeps driving.
Imagine if this was your mother in the back of the ambulance dying, with the hospital trip delayed by a similar officer with a problem?
Southpark's Cartman had it right - "AUTHORITUH!"
Oh come on now! Cops have a tough job and....thin blue line...and high stress...and unappreciated...and volunteer to lay down their lives...and just want to go home at the end of their shift....and officer safety...and people go f%#*ing around with the law and all hell breaks loose!
Submit! Comply! Be passive! The COPS are always right!
What do you think you are anyway? A peer? A citizen? A man?
