I also wonder what his plan is for dealing with people who count on knowing where "gun free zones" are that handle lots of cash...? Or for protecting his customers and employees? Maybe someone could ask him?

I wrote him and encouraged him to get the loudest, flashiest sign possible... because I didn't want to accidentally walk off the street and give him any business whatsoever.

Of course I don't believe him - in fact I don't believe he has even SEEN a "problem maker", let alone faced one.
Sendarius, In 18 years in the bar business you don't think he's seen a trouble maker. What kind of bars do you frequent?
The point is a lot of people think guns and alcohol don't mix. Why do you take that so personally? It really refers to that end of the spectrum of gun owners who are prone to make trouble. Obviously the responsible guys can mix with anything. But, as hard as it is for some of you to admit it, among legal gun owners you've got some who make trouble and even some who go bad. It's about them.

Yet you serve alcohol to people who drive to your bar and drive away with no compunction.

I have written the same note to Sheriff Arapio and suggested that his deputies pay particular attention to the drunks leaving your establishment.
In case you haven't noticed - drunk driving kills and injures many, many more people than do guns in the hands of responsible people - who are the definition of concealed carry permit holders.
But then, you don't make a buck off of that, do you?
