Yeah, it's outrageous, but really, George--I'm having a tough time feeling sorry for someone who volunteered for abuse.
Fourth Amendment considerations are now being raised.
I don't know why anyone would think authorities who don't respect the Second Amendment need to give a damn about any of the others.

Easy Lesson: NEVER do Law Enforcement a favor, OK?
Shun LEOs to death if possible. Don't speak to them. Don't do business with them. Don't pull them out of a burning building. Unless you wish to be humiliated, abused, and electrocuted.
My freind's advice is your only answers should be yes, no, and I want to speak to my lawyer. I say, jump straight to the third answer.
Don't listen to your friend. He can't possibly be a lawyer.
What if the yes/no question is "Is this gun yours?" or "Did you do this?"
If the answers are "yes," you either hang yourself or lie and say "no"--and look what happened to Martha Stewart.
