Hendricks shot John Paul Hambleton, 32, in the back as he ran from the detective and his partner... [More]So will the same justification excuse work for one of us, or is that reserved exclusively for "Only Ones"?

You can't refuse.
You can't hide.
You can't run.
What's left?
If I were John Hambleton's father, brother, or best friend, I would make JUSTICE my life's mission. There would BE a balancing of the books, I don't care how long it took.
Even on the rare occassion that a murderer with a badge goes to court there is no consequence.
Would it be too harsh to say that this realization tends to point people toward a more direct and deadly option when dealing with policemen?
As long as they know they can kill you on the flimsiest of excuses, and suffer no damage to themselves, their lives, or livelihoods, they will.
As long as we know this to be the case, why would we not consider preemptive response to our own murders?

Condition Red.
Don't you people know that a Police Officer's life is worth 150% of the life of a mere civilian?
Don't you know that when the Police Officer faced that taser, he feared for his very life and was facing a deadly weapon? If the civilian suspect had just submitted and complied when he was given several jolts of "less than lethal force" this would have turned out differently. The brave Police Officers were forced by the civilian perp to take a life because he refused to be a good citizen and cower in fear like he was expected to.
When the Police arrive and electrocute you, don't respond! Hell, how simple is that? Submit! Comply! Take yer beating and your electrocution, and keep your head down and shut the hell up....and everything should be fine.
People go f*&#ing around with the LAW and all hell breaks loose.
And always remember, Big Brother is watching.
Tick-tock-tick-tock....
Unintended consequences take time to properly bake, but when the timer goes off.....
