one way to free oneself from that fear is, of course, to buy a gun and carry it.
that way, you'll actually learn something, and put an end to your magical thinking, scien-truthy voodoo about firearms "representing" emotions.
Chicken and egg, jon... And not likely to happen in California with people like this. They've accepted fairly tales as reality for much too long.
Proven by the nutty idea that carrying an EMPTY gun accomplishes anything at all. Not to mention the fun and games as every cop you meet grabs the gun and "makes sure" it is empty.
An empty holster is much more symbolic and meaningful where honest carry is prohibited.
I live in fear of Democrats. Does that mean we can abolish them?
