Isn't that always the way? Punishing and puting at risk the people who didn't, and wouldn't, do it. (See Virginia Tech.)
If I were a mass murderer/terrorist, I'd be dancing a jig. It's open season on grunts.
Plus, if our servicepeople can't be trusted with a weapon on base, how can they be trusted to do the government's business on the battlefield with massive force?
Where did my America go? I have to wonder what the Nazis' soldier-personal-arms policy was...
