On Monday I announced that CNN's Anderson Cooper was going to broadcast an expose on the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). That will happen tonight at 10:00 PM EST. [More]This warranted a second Gun Rights Examiner column.
I know what I'll be watching tonight.

Destroyed his reputation? His financial standing?
Ohhh... Shucks!
Maybe he should have chosen something productive to do for a living, instead of parasitically sucking the blood from Taxpayers and working for an agency who's primary function is to violate the Constitution.
Maybe then he would garner some sympathy.
I have not had the opportunity to watch the special, but if it's anything like the summary article on cnn.com, it sounds like it was probably incredibly weak.
The whole article was about "retribution" on its own employees, and nothing about the awful thuggish behavior this agency employs against American citizens every day.
If I'm wrong and the actual expose did go into that, let me know and I will be sure to watch it.
Otherwise, it seems like CNN really missed an opportunity here.
Exactly my thoughts having watched it Christopher--to the point I'm feeling a bit...misdirected.
Nothing about institutionalized perjury. Nothing about abuses against citizens. Nothing about making things up as they go and damn anyone caught up in their actions. Nothing about actions by the chief counsel's office. Nothing about...
Disgruntled employees are fine as far as providing an entrance point to expose wider examples of corruption. If that's as far as this goes, and we'll know by tonight, then we've been had, because tell me that's all a CNN "investigative team" with all its resources could uncover--especially in light of what's been documented by activists...
