We're the Only Ones Without Question Enough

“I am very confident his audio/video camera will help both the officer and the citizen,” said Adams. “Since all actions will be recorded, there will never be a question on what was said and how it was handled.” [More]
I know you said there will never be a question, Chief, but I still have one: You won't mind if we reciprocate?

There won't be any questions unless they: Lie their ass off, "Lose" the video or audio or both, Refuse to provide it, Claim they don't know where it is, Or claim they can't show it because it's too controversial, compromises "officer safety", or some legal bullshit that keeps them from showing what colossal foul-ups they are. I never ever heard of a case of the SS or the Gestapo showing a video of themselves in a bad light.

We WILL continue to film you rogue cops, and we likely will start carrying to resist assaults, er, *ahem* "false arrest" with force.

I would hope that these cameras are considerably more reliable than the expensive government dash cams used by Texas LEOs. The Texas dash cams have a suspicious malfunction that results in the inexplicable loss of audio and/or video during questionable LEO activity.

Hmmm. The article says that each unit will cost 250.000. Figures the bureaucrats would overpay. Here's one that does the same thing and has night vision mode and a laser pointer aim system for $149.00...
